We're looking for a Creative Strategist who understands the intersection of consumer psychology, design, and paid media performance.

This role is ideal for someone who loves analyzing what makes consumers buy, building winning creative concepts, and working closely with performance marketing teams to drive measurable business outcomes.

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Creative Strategist with a strong background in Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) brands, and performance marketing.

This is not a traditional brand strategy role.

You will be responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing creative strategies that directly impact client revenue growth across Meta, TikTok, YouTube and Google Ads.

The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking with hands-on creative execution and can confidently move from analyzing performance data to building or editing creative assets themselves.

You should be equally comfortable discussing consumer insights with a client, reviewing Meta ad performance, and opening Figma or Adobe Creative Cloud to improve an ad concept.

Key Responsibilities:

Creative Strategy

  • Develop creative strategies aligned with client growth objectives.

  • Conduct audience, competitor, and market research to uncover opportunities.

  • Identify consumer motivations, pain points, objections, and purchase drivers.

  • Build messaging frameworks and creative testing roadmaps.

  • Create campaign concepts for evergreen, seasonal, promotional, and product launch initiatives.

  • Develop creative hypotheses and testing plans designed to improve campaign performance.

Performance Marketing Collaboration

  • Partner closely with Paid Media Specialists to improve account performance.

  • Analyze Meta and Google Ads data to identify creative opportunities.

  • Review key performance metrics including:

    • ROAS

    • CPA

    • CTR

    • CPC

    • Conversion Rate

    • MER

    • Customer Acquisition Cost

  • Develop creative recommendations based on performance trends and insights.

  • Continuously monitor competitors, emerging creative trends, and platform changes.

Creative Development & Execution

  • Create detailed creative briefs for designers, copywriters, content creators, and video editors.

  • Conceptualize and oversee production of:

    • Static advertisements

    • UGC campaigns

    • Short-form video

    • Product launch campaigns

    • Landing page concepts

    • Promotional campaigns

    • Email marketing creative

  • Ensure all creative assets align with brand guidelines while maximizing performance.

  • Review and approve creative prior to launch.

Design & Creative Production

  • Make on-the-fly creative edits and optimizations based on performance & insights.

  • Create creative concepts for design instruction.

  • Develop ad variations for testing new:

    • Hooks

    • Messaging

    • Offers

    • Creative formats

    • Visual treatments

  • Collaborate with designers and editors while maintaining the ability to execute independently when needed.

  • Maintain consistent visual quality across all client campaigns.

Client Strategy & Communication

  • Lead creative strategy discussions with clients & internal team.

  • Present campaign concepts and performance insights.

  • Communicate recommendations supported by data and consumer behavior analysis.

  • Act as a strategic advisor on creative performance and customer acquisition initiatives.

  • Build client confidence through proactive recommendations and thought leadership.

Reporting & Optimization

  • Conduct weekly and monthly creative performance reviews.

  • Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities across campaigns.

  • Maintain creative testing documentation and learning repositories.

  • Develop recommendations for scaling successful campaigns.

  • Create actionable insights that improve future creative performance.

Required Qualifications

  • 3–6+ years experience in Creative Strategy, Growth Marketing, Performance Marketing, or a related role.

  • Proven experience working with CPG, DTC, or consumer brands.

  • Demonstrated success scaling campaigns across Meta. TikTok and Google Ads experience is nice-to-have.

  • Strong understanding of consumer psychology and buying behavior.

  • Experience developing creative testing frameworks.

  • Ability to translate performance data into actionable creative recommendations.

  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.

  • Strong portfolio demonstrating performance-focused creative work.
